I began by conducting a thorough competitor analysis to identify popular trends in the salon industry and how to leverage any gaps to help Chiclocks stand out from the competition. These insights led to the creation of multiple mood boards, and those that best embodied the client’s vision were chosen as the basis for the visual branding. At this point, it became clear that the brand needed to be feminine yet corporate and professional—a perfect blend of high-end hairstyling with feminine energy!
The logo is designed to incorporate the symbolism of a "hair lock" in the letter “L”. This instantly reflects the hairstyling nature of the business while also making the logo modern and memorable.
Light pink and deep blue were metichilously chosen as brand colours. The pink represents the femininity and confidence of the customers, while the blue color adds a touch of professionalism and sophistication. The contrast between the two colors also creates a striking and memorable impression
